What's your biggest struggle when it comes to making music with your little?

Is it cost? Is it time?

I'm guessing maybe both? Why? Because these are my biggest struggles too.

Music education can be costly. And, time is expensive too! It's an extremely hot commodity for any momma juggling a million hats at once.

Sometimes my life literally feels like a circus. If I could have someone manage one or two of my crazy circus rings, then I might be in great shape!

What about you? What would calm things down to give you the space you need to invest in your little's life a bit more?

I've found a lot of solace with planning ahead (one day ahead) and lots of deep breaths at the end of the day. I take just 5 minutes at night to plan the following day's schedule in time blocks. This is reaping amazing dividends for my own well being and children's education.

If we aim at nothing... we hit it. BUT! If we set our sights on small, daily goals, eventually we will hit our big goals!

This is true for our children in music.

As parents, we have the unique opportunity to help shape our children's musicality... even if we're not musically inclined!

Just a few minutes of combining music with movement every day has been proven to strengthen a child's thinking skills, language skills, coordination skills, imagination, spatial awareness, motor skills, and so much more including preparation for learning an instrument!

I would love to invite you to make music a part of your every day life with your little love.

My Musik at Home Class Planner is your ticket to calming the chaos by planning music into your day, checking it off and feeling amazing about your child's progress! Get it HERE.

Simply circle your music making days, write in the time of day you'll spend making music, then check it off when you're done! You can offer awards to your child for making progress such as stickers to place on the chart or treats for goals met.

The carnival theme keeps the motivation going all year long! Music education is your child's invitation to fun, playful, imaginative success! There's no wrong way to move and play with music.

In this newly updated version of the Musik at Home Class Planner, I've added super easy to use skills inventories and goal trackers. You're going to LOVE these!

In addition, I've included a quarterly skills assessment tool in the planner to help you keep track of your child's progress. You'll be able to assess 20 specific music making skills with the easy to use list of skills.

My hope is that this planner will fuel your music making time with real, tangible goals your little one can reach!

As a tired, sleep deprived mom, thinking up songs to sing on the spot can be a bit challenging.

Heading out the door to another activity with a little one can also be a challenge.

That's why I designed and created Musik at Home classes with over 400 ready made activities to help your child soar!

With our classes, you don't have to leave home or do any lesson planning (other than finding the right time of day to complete a class...and you've got this!). You don't even have to have a musical background. Once you join Musik at Home, you simply log in, find the class you want and hit play. It's that easy.
