Momma, You look Amazing!

What's your style, Momma? 

On any given day, you'll find me in yoga pants and a comfy loose fitting shirt. I absolutely love soft, comfortable clothes! 

When it comes to finding the right outfit for the right occasion, I like feeling both comfortable and confident in what I wear.

I wish gorgeous outfits flew out of thin air, but alas...they don't. :-) 

It takes thought, intention and motivation to find the right fit for each occasion.

A momma's body changes shapes a bazillion times (can I hear an AMEN!?!). It's the hardest phase for keeping the closet stocked with well-loved outfit choices. I'm living it right alongside you...oh the mummy tummy (sigh...). 

I like shopping, but I never have time for it. 

What momma has time to shop, really?

The only time I shop is when it gets bumped to the top of my priority list for some reason, usually for a special occasion.

It's true, every momma wants to look amazing for that occasion, me included. 

My Musik at Home video shoots were special occasions for me, for sure!

If you haven't been able to tell, I love performing and getting the chance to share music with the world! :-)

In Musik at Home class videos, you'll see me all dressed up with make up done in the high-quality, produced class videos.

To tell you the truth, it took a TON of work to put all of my outfits together. 

In my most recent film shoot for Musik at Home for Mixed Ages and Family Music for Ages 4-7 classes, I needed 18 outfits to be able to wear something different in each class video. Whew! 

During the summer of the film shoot, I was so busy prepping the content for the classes, that I gave my dear friend (my very style conscious, well dressed friend) my credit card and asked her to find outfits for the shoot!

She took on the challenge with a sparkle in her eye and she did an amazing job! 

Here are some of my favorites! 

Now, don't be fooled by the class footage. 

When it's just me at home with my girls, I'm no where NEAR as put together. 

But, I do like to feel confident even in my every day momma-wear. 

Recently, I was talking with the same dear friend about how my closet needed an overhaul because it had been forever since I'd been shopping for clothing. 

Without skipping a beat, my friend introduced me to Stitch Fix.
